The MusicLink Foundation is sharing our Student Spotlight videos to showcase our students for all to see and hear. MusicLink "creates musicians, one student at a time" by linking eager students in need with professional teachers who agree to teach these students on partial to full scholarship for as long as these students wish to learn. Please look over our website (https://www.musiclinkfoundation.org) and consider making a donation to help us reach more students through music.

Tarra Guerra has a studio in Fort Lauderdale FL and has been a MusicLink teacher for 10 years. We share performances by her guitar and violin classes in this video spotlight with comments from Tarra about her students:

Dubraska Robles was a MusicLink student from age 9 to her High School graduation in June of this year. She is leading the Suzuki Violin group in our first ever Virtual Concert. Dubraska was a joy to teach, and is now at the University of Florida majoring in the biosciences and psychology with a full scholarship! She has her violin, which was her graduation gift from me, with her, and plans to play mostly in service to others through a sorority dedicated to exactly that.

Olivia Fitzgerald has been a MusicLink student for two years now, initially studying classical guitar, and now learning violin as well in the Suzuki Guitar & Violin groups at the studio. She is leading the group in this video. Olivia practices every day with one or both of her two dedicated parents, and loves to play both of her instruments. Watch her right hand fingerings, which are quite advanced for this level. Even through the difficult process of making a virtual concert, with the need to make many, many "re-do's" of videos and audio recordings, she has been a trooper and a privilege to teach.
